Memory and then capacity of remembrance are a bridge between times separated by the events of life. So once a reunification happens the mind gets used to a different approach in shaping further relationships and their settings. Somehow it is a cement structuring new phases in existence. Like concrete assembling stones for life. Have a great bridging week Anne and Family, amitié from Paris, pierre alain v etc.
A small big moment - yes indeed, Michelle. I love that description. What has stayed with me is how easy connection is despite how much noise there is in the world about how hard it is to connect. It may be uncomfortable for a moment, but connection is pretty simple. I know you know this - you're one of the best "bridges" I know. ❤️
Thanks so much, Ciaran! It was so wild - we just couldn't get over how easily we might have missed each other. I was grateful my friend was looking at people! Have you ever had a moment like that?
yes, I've had both the 'insert name followed by question mark' when it cant be, can it? And also the 'insert name followed by multiple exclamation marks!' when I'm both certain and surprised.
A most excellent post, Anne. The lesson, the language, and the lovely warmth that lingers long after the read all put this one on the top shelf. You do this well, my friend.
Oh, Gary! I'm so touched. Thank you. I wouldn't do this well at all without you and the Story Republic crew. Having a community of story tellers at my back is all the motivation I need. Thanks for letting me know this one hit for you - you're just the best.
Beautiful. I was struck by the caption of your photo. Be the Bridge. Now I'll be thinking about what that means all day. . .
Can't wait to hear what you come up with, Rumi! :)

What visuals! Love that, pierre alain.
So heartwarming, Anne. Such a big small moment.

What a kind and flattering observation, thank you!
What a wonderful moment and post!
